Gay officers organization to posthumously honor Police Officer Michael Hance, who danced in Pride Parade

Gay Officers Action League (GOAL) will posthumously honor NYPD Officer Michael Hance, who died of World Trade Center-related cancer in March of this year, writes Ciara McCarthy in the Tribeca Patch. Officer Hance, who was 44, made a sensation dancing while guarding the New York City gay pride parade in 2015.

Officers from GOAL raised money for Officer Hance’s two young daughters  in gratitude to the girls’ father. They will present the money to the girls on June 21, 2017.
