Fundraiser begun to bring “Spirit of Oklahoma” historic fire truck back to Oklahoma

Oklahoma schoolchildren raised money to buy the Spirit of Oklahoma, a fire truck sent to New York City to help with 9/11 recovery. The truck was donated in memory of three NYPD police officers and seven FDNY firefighters killed in the attacks who had responded to the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995, reports Grant Stephens for OK News 9.

Now Oklahoma firefighters have days to raise funds to bring the Spirit of Oklahoma home.
