Tomorrow FDNY firefighter Ray Pfeiffer again puts it all on the line as he is scheduled for a very complex and long surgery as doctors will attempt to save Ray’s leg.
Ray emptied the tank to get Zadroga re-authorized. He left it all on the field.
Ray would break his cane over our legs if he knew we were posting this. But too bad. There’s more of us than him, and we have more legs than he has canes.
So say a prayer for Ray today and tomorrow.
