French publisher Ellipses has issued an apology for publishing a French textbook that printed the conspiracy theory that the CIA was behind the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Ellispses stated, “this phrase which echoes conspiracy theories devoid of any factual basis should never have been used in this work,” reports Jackie Salo for the NY Post.
