Liz Alderman, who lost her son Peter C. Alderman in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, and who founded the Peter C. Alderman Foundation in his honor, writes in the New York Times on November 30, 2015 about the 413 wounded survivors of the Paris attacks — and the unwounded survivors. The Peter C. Alderman Foundation trains indigenous caregivers in war-torn areas to cope with trauma.
