September 11th family member Sally Regenhard, who lost her son Christian in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, empathizes with the families awaiting news of their loved ones after the collapse of Champlain Towers South.
She told reporters Breanne Deppisch and Samantha-Jo Roth of Spectrum News that she hopes great care is taken to identify remains properly.
Her son is one of more than 1,000 September 11th victims whose remains have yet to be identified.
One hundred and forty-five people are still missing from Champlain Towers with 18 deaths declared.
