FDNY Battalion Chief Joseph Duggan, Jr., 49, who worked the recovery efforts at the World Trade Center, played the bagpipes at countless funerals and served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves, rebuilding the Baghdad fire department, will be one of the Grand Marshals at this year’s Veterans Day parade, reports Rich Schapiro in the New York Daily News.
