Zechariah Cartledge, 9, and Thelma Stuart, widow of 9/11 hero Port Authority Police Office Walwyn Stuart, met after Zechariah wore Officer Stuart’s photo in the Tunnel to Towers charity run.
Stuart told him, “You are honoring that man, my hubby. Thank you so much. Of all the many thousands of officers, you chose mine, ” reported Elizabeth Elizalde for the New York Daily News.
