Finding the will – play “recalls” life of Father Mychal Judge, first victim of 9/11 terror attacks

Bay Area priest Harry Cronin has written a play about Father Mychal Judge, the FDNY chaplain killed in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, writes Robin Caudell for the Plattsburgh Press-Republican. After someone who knew Father Judge did not return his emails, Cronin wrote the play around a fictional gay FDNY firefighter “George,” who tells his fellow alcoholics about Judge at an AA meeting.

“He seemed to be a very brave and very courageous man,” said Cronin of Judge.

The play will have two performances in Plattsburgh. Apparently it ran in NYC, though we saw no notice about it.
