Funds have been raised for a memorial to the 2,973 people killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks to be built in Mountain Home, Arkansas, reports KTLO staff.
The future memorial will feature a piece of World Trade Center steel suspended between two replica towers on a pentagonal base. It will stand on Veterans Plaza near the Baxter County Courthouse.
