FF Thomas Kelly dies of World Trade Center-related cancer

Thomas John Kelly, 58, died on January 3, 2016, of site-related throat cancer. He was a 17-year veteran of the FDNY, responded to the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and worked the recovery effort. His illness forced him to retire in 2005.

Michael D’Onofrio of The Lower Hudson Journal News spoke to Kelly’s family on January 6, 2016.
