FDNY EMT Evelyn Ford, 58, has died of COVID-19, report Thomas Tracy and Larry McShane for the New York Daily News. She had 27 years of service to her credit, working as a dispatcher on a variety of crises.
She leaves four children.
Ironically, EMT Ford died as New York’s EMTs were preparing to receive vaccinations against the disease that killed her.
