FDNY Battalion Chief Kevin McNamara is looking for the dermatologist who saved his life on January 25, 2016 at Great Wolf Lodge in Scotrun, Pennsylvania. The doctor, “a redhead or strawberry blonde”, about 5’2″ and in her 30s or 40s, identified a melanoma on McNamara’s back and told him to have it checked.
He did have the most dangerous kind of skin cancer, but it was caught early and his prognosis is excellent.
“I would love to just give her a great thanks and a hug,” NYCFireWire reported him as saying.
