FBI releases declassified documents on September 11 attacks

The FBI has released more than seven hundred pages of newly declassified documents concerning the connections between the government of Saudi Arabia and the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, report Spectrum News and the Associated Press.

A long FBI investigation into whether three Saudi government officials had prior knowledge of the 9/11 plot produced insufficient evidence to charge anyone.

A group of September 11th family members has long sought to prove Saudi involvement.
