Disgraced former NYPD sergeant Sally Spinosa has pleaded guilty to taking September 11th benefits she did not earn.
Spinosa lied and filed fake documents claiming that she worked at the World Trade Center recovery operation for 62 days after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, reports Joseph Ostapiuk for the Staten Island Advance. Spinosa also filed false claims with the World Trade Center Health Program.
Her sentencing is scheduled for December 1, 2021.
