Ex-EMT who was buried in 9/11 rubble faces eviction along with others after sale of nine NYC apartment buildings

Retired EMT Joe Conzo, who survived the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, is facing eviction due to the sale of his apartment building.

Glacier Equities bought several buildings in November and informed tenants just before Christmas that their leases were not being renewed, reports Michael Gartland for the New York Daily News.

Joe Conzo, 57, suffers from World Trade Center-related liver and pancreatic cancer. He is currently in remission, but is aware of the survival rates of his cancers.
