Chris Ward, 49, survived the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and has now survived World Trade Center-related non-Hodgkin’s follicular lymphoma, and COVID-19 too. He spent more than three months in the hospital with COVID-19, reports Heidi Stevens for the Chicago Tribune.
Chris has a long way to go to regain his health, having had to relearn to talk, sit up, and walk. His weight went down to 130 pounds from the COVID. After a stay in rehab, Chris went home to his family on March 16th.
