Congress urged to permanently fund 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund

Today, Congressman Lee Zeldin urged the House of Representatives to prioritize legislation to permanently fund the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (VCF) at the beginning of the next Congress.

If current payouts continue, the VCF will have insufficient money for claims in just two more years.

The Never Forget the Heroes: Permanent Authorization of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund Act (H.R. 7062) would permanently fund the VCF through 2090 reports Long Island News & PR.
