Coney Island interfaith service remembers lives lost on 9/11

The Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance annual interfaith celebration and Mass took place on Sunday, May 5, 2019. The service began as a Mass for family members of the police officers and firefighters killed during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, but includes all line-of-duty-death families.

About 180 families attended, reports John Alexander of the Brooklyn Reporter.

The next Wall of Remembrance event, First Responders’ Night at MCU, will take place on July 12, 2019.
