Citi Field honor for 9/11 police officer’s daughter

NYPD Officer Paul Talty was killed while responding to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.His daughter Kelly was 3 weeks old.

At an event on June 30, hosted by the New York Mets and the New York Police & Fire Widows’ & Children’s Benefit Fund, Kelly Talty, now 14, was one of three children of people killed on the 11th to throw out a pitch. Julian Miles Davis, son of Port Authority Police Officer Clinton Davis, Sr., and Brian Harlin, son of Firefighter Daniel Edward Harlin, also participated, reported Briana Bonfiglio of the Long Island Herald.
