Lawmakers have drawn up the 9/11 Responder and Survivor Health Funding Correction Act to amend the funding for those sickened by the World Trade Center to ensure that their health care can continue.

North Valley Stream Street renamed in honor of NYPD Deputy Chief Vincent DeMarino, who died of 9/11-related illness
Park Drive South in North Valley Stream has been renamed to honor retired NYPD Deputy Chief Vincent DeMarino, who died of World Trade Center-related brain cancer in 2019.
