The Day, a new dance piece about the terrorist attacks of 9/11, choreographed by Lucinda Childs, had its world premiere at the Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival in Becket, Massachusetts this week and will be seen in New York at the Joyce in October.

Retired FDNY fireboat, the John D. McKean, in service during 9/11 and miracle on the Hudson, undergoes restoration

The Fireboat McKean Preservation Project hopes to save the FDNY fireboat John D. McKean, which pumped water to the World Trade Center during the 9/11 terrorist attacks and responded to the “miracle on the Hudson” plane crash in 2014.
