Brothers who lost dad Andrew Friedman on 9/11 honor their father’s memory with sock company for tall men

Mike and Dan Friedman are twins and they are tall — 6’11” and 6’9″ — so they were used to being called “the twin towers.”

Their father, Andrew worked in the north tower of the World Trade Center, and was killed there in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The boys were 11.

Tuesday’s Children helped them through, as did friend of their father.

Last year, the Friedmans launched TallOrder, an online sock company for tall men. Sock styles are named for the friends who helped them, and some of their profits now benefit Tuesday’s Children. So far, they’ve donated $20,000 to Tuesday’s Children.

They talked to PIX11’s Mr. G and Jennifer Rose.
