Zhe “Zack” Zeng, an emergency medical technician who was killed while saving lives in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center was honored by his former company, Brighton Volunteer Ambulance, who dedicated a new vehicle in his honor. The vehicle replaces an older one also named for Zeng.
Mr. Zeng was working for the Bank of New York on Barclay Street just north of the World Trade Center wrote Meaghan M. McDermott in the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle. When he learned about the attacks, Zeng gathered all the first aid supplies he could and headed to the Trade Center. He died when the buildings collapsed.
