Blasts leave ‘scores’ dead at Brussels airport and metro station

Brussels’ Zaventem Airport and its Maelbeek metro station were bombed this morning in an apparently coordinated terror attack. The numbers of dead and injured have yet to be determined, report James McAuley, Michael Birnbaum and Brian Murphy of the Washington Post on March 22, 2016.

This may be a reprisal attack after the capture of  the terrorist responsible for the Paris shootings of November 2015.

Flights have been diverted to Liege Airport.
