‘Bikers for Bini’ will not be rescheduled after assault forced shutdown

The”Bikers for Bini” charity event, scheduled for last Sunday, will not take place this year, reports Kristin F. Dalton in the Staten Island Advance.

The charity event ended soon after starting after an assault occurred on the premises. The victim, a man, refused hospital treatment, and no arrests were made.

Massimo DiDonna, president of the Carl V. Bini Memorial Fund, the event’s sponsor, said he decided to shut down the event.

The Fund’s board will meet and decide what to do about next year’s event.
