Beloved Fire Department Chaplain who died on 9/11 honored with annual walk: ‘He helped me understand life was worth living’

When, in 1986, NYPD Detective Steven McDonald was shot and paralyzed from the neck down, FDNY Chaplain Mychal Judge helped him. Father Judge was killed at the World Trade Center in the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001, writes Diane Herbst in People.

Now McDonald leads an annual walk to honor Father Mychal.
