Aviation security under scrutiny after death of stowaway in London

Concerns about aviation security have been raised after the frozen body of a man fell from a Kenya Airways plane into a London garden yesterday. It seems he had concealed himself in the wheel well of the plane.

Some security experts think heat sensors in planes’ undercarriages could detect stowaways. Other experts are concerned with the question of access — if someone can hide in a plane’s wheel well, they could also put something into the wheel well, report Ben Quinn and Halima Gikandi for the Guardian.
