Architecture firm Skidmore Owings & Merrill nails down 80K square feet at 7 WTC

Skidmore Owings & Merrill (SOM) will move their New York headquarters to 7 World Trade Center next year.

David Childs of SOM designed 1 World Trade Center and 7 World Trade Center,  the first tower of the destroyed World Trade Center to be rebuilt. 7WTC went up in 2006, writes Rebecca Baird-Remba for Commercial Observer.

SOM will occupy 7WTC’s 27th and 28th floors.
