American flag in Johnstown’s West End honors 9/11 victim William Moskal

A tattered American flag that has flown in Johnstown, PA for nearly ten years to honor William Moskal, who was killed by terrorists in the attack of September 11, 2001 has been replaced with a new flag.

The flag is located at the corner of D Street and Fairfield Avenue.

Mr. Moskal, 50, traveled to New York City to make a presentation at the World Trade Center on the day of the attacks. He is the only person from Johnstown to be killed on September 11, 2001.

The West End Improvement Group replaced the old flag this week, reports Rachel Prichard for WJAC.
