Three new NYPD horses have been named for officers killed by the 9/11 terrorist attacks – ESU Officer Walter Weaver, NYPD Officer Paul Talty, and ESU Officer Santos Valentin, reports Robert Brodsky for NY Newsday.
Another horse was named for retired NYPD Officer Thomas Waterman, who died of World Trade Center-related cancer in 2019.
