Military names Air Force judge for Guantánamo Bay 9/11 trial. But there’s a snag.

The long-delayed trial of the accused plotters of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks was delayed again when the sixth newly-appointed judge was called unqualified by some prosecutors.

USAF Lt. Col. Matthew N. McCall was deemed unfit to preside as he has only two years of experience as a military judge reports Carol Rosenberg for the New York Times.

The last judge appointed quit after two weeks, saying he knew people affected by the terrorist attacks.
