River City Brass will perform for Flight 93 memorial service

Pittsburgh-based ensemble River City Brass will perform this year at the anniversary commemoration at the Flight 93 National Memorial.

Artistic director James Gourlay called the invitation an honor. Members of the group have agreed to perform for free.

They will play “Hymn to the Fallen,” “America the Beautiful,” “The Star-Spangled Banner,” “Going Home” and “We Shall Overcome,” reports Mary Pickels for the Tribune-Democrat.
