Peter Meehan, a retired NYPD detective sergeant suffering from Lou Gehrig’s disease and many other World Trade Center-related illnesses, has accused his estranged wife, Donna Meehan, of stealing a check from a 9/11 charity made out to him.
Donna Meehan was arrested last week. Her attorney says that she is planning to sue, according to Long Island News 12.
