The EMS Museum at Fort Totten has been rededicated and renovated, the better to tell the history of emergency medical care in New York City.
The museum began in 1992, the brainchild of FDNY Division Chief of EMS James P. Martin and Captain Jack Quigley of the EMS Bureau of Training Academy. In 2013, the museum closed for renovations and for expansion of its academy, reports Carlotta Mohamed in the Queens Times Ledger.
