Bokoshe Fire Dept. plans to turn fire truck into traveling 9/11 memorial

Members of the Bokoshe (Oklahoma) Fire Department are planning to turn a 1969 Ford F-1000 Super Cab fire truck into a traveling 9/11 memorial, reports Zuzanna Sitek of KFSM.

It will be called the 9/11 Memorial Fire Truck Engine 343. Three hundred and forty-three FDNY firefighters were killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The truck will display photos of the firefighters and tell stories of the attacks. The plan is to take the truck to schools and parades and one day to New York.
