Whitestone street named ‘Vincent Cangelosi Memorial Way’ for resident who lost his life during 9/11 attack

On Tuesday, the corner of 154th Street and 26th Avenue in Whitestone, Queens was renamed Vincent Cangelosi Memorial Way  in honor of a local resident killed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, reported Suzanne Monteverdi of Queens.com

The ceremony renamed the street and dedicated a memorial park adjacent to the newly named street corner. The park was sponsored by the Queens North 9/11 Memorial Park Foundation and honors all those killed in the attacks.
