Egyptian officials announced today that wreckage from EgyptAir Flight 804 was found in the Mediterranean Sea today and that terrorism was a likely cause of its crash.
66 people, including three children, were aboard the flight.
“The Egyptian civil aviation minister, Sherif Fathi, told a news conference in Cairo that it was premature to draw conclusions about the cause of the crash, but he quickly acknowledged that it might be terrorism,” reported Declan Walsh and Kareem Fahim of the New York Times.
