Bill to designate 9/11 site as national memorial to be considered in Congress

A proposed Congressional bill to designate the 9/11 Memorial a national memorial and authorizing funds for its operations and security was passed out of committee and could be voted on by the House of Representatives next week, writes Rose Krebs in the Burlington County Times on February 3, 2016

The bill was introduced by Congressman Tom MacArthur and has 73 co-sponsors.
