Thousands of desperately ill people who did not hesitate to run into danger when terrorists attacked the World Trade Center are ignored by Congressional bureaucrats playing political games and refusing to reauthorize the Zadroga Act.
‘”To say you’re for Zadroga and then put in pay-fors that they know Democrats cannot support means you’re afraid to say you want to kill Zadroga. But you’re killing it,” Sen. Chuck Schumer told the Daily News.
