Brunett, USS New York commanding officer.
“This is my first stop at sea as the new 6th Fleet commander and I can’t think of a better platform to bring to Israel than USS New York. The ship is spectacular; it’s not only squeaky clean, but it is a great demonstration for our partners and allies that demonstrates the power of amphibious warfare. So thank you to the Sailors and Marines who made my visit possible today.”
“The U.S. 6th fleet area of operations spreads from the North Pole down to Africa and from 45 West all the way up to the Black Sea. It’s an incredible job and an incredible responsibility, and I couldn’t do it without these great Sailors and Marines.” -Vice Adm. James Foggo, U.S. 6th Fleet commander
