9/11 judge and prosecutors should step down over ‘destroyed evidence’, Guantánamo defense demands

Attorneys for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed are calling on the judge, Col James Pohl, and the entire prosecution team of the 9/11 military tribunal at Guantánamo Bay to resign over an accusation that the government secretly destroyed information, reports Spencer Ackerman of the Guardian.

Details of what may have happened are not known since the allegations filed are not yet available to the public. They were filed on Tuesday, but filings must clear a routine security review before more is known.
