9/11 hero helping Harvey victims saw devastation firsthand

Sean Johnson, a firefighter with the FDNY’s Incident Management Team, is one of a group of  city firefighters, police officers and EMTs who traveled to Texas to assist Hurricane Harvey victims. Sara Dorn of the NY Post interviewed him about what he saw.

Johnson spoke of some areas inaccessible by vehicle or train, where rescuers come in via helicopter.

Most stores have closed, and Johnson saw hundreds of people lined up outside of the few shops that are open. People need everything right now. Twn for the longest time.
