9/11 survivor Krista Salvatore helps make flags for upcoming Labor Day display in St. Louis

Krista Salvatore, who was 22 years old on September 11, 2001, was training for a new job on the 61st floor of the World Trade Center’s South Tower when terrorists attacked it.

“I think about it every day. I mean, I think about 9/11 every day it changed my life,” she told Ty Hawkins of the Daily News.

She now lives near St. Louis and is assisting Flags of Valor with their Labor Day flag display.
