9/11 recovery worker Charlie Burge helping local ranch after discrimination case settled

After years of fighting, retired DSNY worker Charlie Burge can leave his shoes outside his apartment, instead of bringing them inside and irritating his 9/11-damaged lungs.

Burge worked the recovery efforts at the World Trade Center. He moved to Florida on his retirement and had to battle his condo board for the right to leave his shoes outside, reports Dave Pugilisi for Fox 35 Orlando. He recently settled his case, receiving a payout. He is donating a portion of the money to various charities.
