15 years later, remains of more than a thousand 9/11 victims still unidentified

According to the Medical Examiner’s office, only 1,637 World Trade Center victims, 60%, have been identified, but 1,113 people remain unidentified, reports Cheryl Wills of NY1.

The last identification of a 9/11 victim occurred in March 2015. Whenever science advances, the possibility of new identifications arises again.
