Four months after founding of the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism with other tech companies, YouTube claims to have greatly improved its techniques to identify and remove terrorist content. Its secret weapon is machine learning technology, reports Chris O’Brien in Venture Beat.
YouTube told the reporter that in the last 30 days, 83% of the violent extremist videos it deleted were found without humans. In addition, YouTube’s humans have watched more than a million videos this summer.
