‘Ruck for the Brave’ runners trek across Manhattan for veterans, victims of 9/11

A band of runners ran to firehouses across the city wearing weighted backpacks to raise awareness about PTSD among veterans and survivors of the terrorist attacks of 9/11. In an event dubbed Ruck for the Brave, they ran 22 kilometers, to mark the number of veterans who kill themselves each day, reported Ross Keith in the New York Daily News.
