Joseph Palombo will run his first competitive race on March 20, 2016 in honor of his father, FF Frank Palombo, 46, who was killed on September 11, 2001 while rescuing people at the World Trade Center, wrote Diana Oliveira in The Ridgewood News.
“It’s not that he only gave his life on September 11,” Palombo said. “I think he gave his life for people around him every day of his life.”
