New Clarkstown police dog named for September 11 hero Welles Remy Crowther

A Dutch Shepherd who will work for the Clarkstown Police has been named after Welles Remy Crowther, the “man in the red bandanna” who saved several lives during the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, writes Jane Lerner in the December 12, 2015 edition of the Lower Hudson Journal News.
